STATUS: Lived in the US since Feb. 1993 and has US citizenship. 

DISCIPLINES: Sculpture: Monumental compositions in public places; portrait in bronze, marble and wood. Painting: Oil landscape, figurative, still-live and contemporary surrealistic compositions. 

EDUCATION: 1963, Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov (sculpture department), MFA; Honors Diploma, includes two years  post-graduate study.1957, Moscow School of Fine Art, Certified Instructor of Fine Art. 

EXPERIENCE: Presently: Instructor of Sculpture at Longmont Academy of Art and at the Loveland Academy of Fine Art.1957-1992: Sculptor and Painter (Moscow).

PERMANENT COLLECTIONS: Bronze and marble sculpture and oil painting in 12 Russian National Museums. 

EXHIBITIONS: 38 exhibitions national and abroad.

SELECTED AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS: 1957, Gold Medal Award from Russian Ministry of Education., 2007 An award in the Sculpture Catagory in the Art Renewal Centers International, N.Y., N.Y.

1982, Medal of Honor from the Soviet Space Federation for the commissioned  portrait of Soviet Space Scientist S.Korolev(designer of Sputnik).

1997, 1999, Two Memorial Medals from the Artist's Union of Russia.

Received listing in five Soviet National Catalogs(Who is Who) of notable artists. Numerous books, magazine and newspaper articles. 

AFFILIATION: 36 year Member of the Artist Guild of Russia.
